About

As a kid, growing up in Brazil, I was inspired by the photography and photojournalism in National Geographic with the culture and exotic places. Eventually this lead to the point where I began developing aJonathan Enns love for capturing people and places in photos, in a way that really focused attention on the true subject or meaning of the photo.

I love photos that tell stories, and so that is what I try to do when making a photo. It is my goal to communicate an idea or message through the photo that causes the viewer to stop, and consider its message.

If I’m not taking pictures you might find me working on a web design project, or maybe playing around with a guitar or reading a book (with the aid of good coffee). I daily read the Bible. Its message is my foundation for life.

Currently I am working throughout Alberta in the areas of Calgary, Edmonton, and Red Deer, Ponoka, Big Valley, Drumheller, Innisfail, Olds, Carstairs, Stettler, Banff, Canmore and Rocky Mountain House. Though most of the work I do is local, I am always willing to travel to other provinces or states. I always look for opportunities to go back to Nova Scotia and Ontario where I used to live.
