About
As a kid I was inspired by the photography in National Geographic with the culture and exotic places. Eventually this lead to the point where I began developing a love for capturing people and places in photos, in a way that really focused attention on the true subject or meaning of the photo.
I love photos that tell stories, and so that is what I try to do when making a photo. It is my goal to communicate an idea or message through the photo that makes an impact on whoever is looking at it.
In addition to my own work I work with Smart Photography out of Edmonton. I also received training from the New York Institute of Photography. I plan on one day returning to Brazil where I was born and raised.
If I’m not taking pictures you might find me being a geek working on a web project, or maybe playing around with a guitar or with a book & some good coffee. I mainly read the Bible and books about it. It is my foundation for life.
Currently I am working throughout Alberta in the areas of Calgary, Edmonton, and Red Deer, Ponoka, Big Valley, Drumheller, Innisfail, Olds, Carstairs, Stettler, Banff, Canmore and Rocky Mountain House. Though most of the work I do is local, I am always willing to travel to other provinces or states. I always look for opportunities to go back to Nova Scotia and Ontario where I used to live.
